We select and vet each and every employee very carefully; we take up references, identification papers and proof of address. We understand you may be anxious about letting a cleaner into your home or business premises however you can rest assured all of our employees have been thoroughly vetted are fully trained and are comprehensively insured. "I was once in the same position so I understand any concerns or worries you may have."
Light Cleaning Co is fundamentally different in its approach in the fact that we contractually employ all cleaners on a P.A.Y.E. Scheme. This means that we are responsible for all aspects of the cleaner's pay and provide standard benefits such as holiday pay. This not only ensures the welfare of our staff but also greater commitment resulting in a lower turnover of staff. Many of our employees have also come via recommendation through existing or past employees.
All cleaners are initially trained within existing clients' homes or premises under supervision (with the client's agreement). Only when we have established new staff are fully trained are they allowed to go to properties and clean unsupervised.
Yes. We will let you know the name of your cleaner after two successful cleans. We guarantee that your cleaner will turn up when promised on the same day(s) of each week and do a thorough job. If your designated cleaner is unable to attend we will provide a fully briefed replacement cleaner and let you know that this has occurred. We never send anybody to your home or premises to clean without a full briefing of your requirements.
To monitor standards we keep in regular communication with each client, feedback is always welcome. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your cleaner we will either work with your cleaner to improve any problems or immediately assign you an alternative cleaner.
We operate a strict key registration system with our employees. All members of staff must pass the security process before they are trusted with keys. Only your regular cleaner is assigned your keys or security codes via our key registration system. Clients' keys are also catalogued within our key coding system for extra security. Once we receive a set of keys the keys are labeled within our key coding system rather than your name or address!
All our employees are comprehensively insured. Each employee is covered by employers liability up to £10 000,000 and public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. Our insurance policy covers accidental loss or damage to customers' property arising out of the course of our business including failure to secure a clients premises, loss and consequential loss of clients' keys and misuse of clients' telephones.
Once we have confirmed a permanent regular cleaning arrangement we will send a contract detailing our terms of business together with a debit card payment form. The contract and debit card form must be completed and returned to us prior to the first clean.
